Learn more about Eurofins Viracor inSIGHT™ for examining T cell response:
The test measures the strength of T cell responses to EBV specific antigens, lytic antigen BZLF1 and latent antigen EBNA3. It evaluates and reports polyfunctional and Interferon-gamma activity of CD4 and CD8 T cell responses independently.
In the transplant setting, post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD) can arise as a consequence of immunosuppression and the loss of T cells that typically control reactivation of EBV. Rapidly rising EBV viral loads can indicate patients at risk for PTLD, a critical cause of morbidity and mortality in, SOT and HSCT patients
It's your job to keep patients safe; our job is to help you do it.
With inSIGHT™, you're now armed with the data to help answer critical questions: Is the patient's body producing a T Cell response? Is that response strong enough to make treatment adjustments? Are they ready to discontinue antiviral medication?

CASE STUDY: Review a bi-lateral lung transplant patient case study to see how they utilized inSIGHT testing to evaluate prophylaxis.
The ability to monitor the presence or absence of virus specific, highly functional T cells will be an important tool, along with monitoring viral load, in managing patients post-transplant as their immune system recovers."
~ Eurofins Viracor
The ability to evaluate EBV specific T cell responses post-transplant is currently an unmet need for managing patients at risk of developing post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD). Functional impairment or lack of a T cell response to EBV has been predicted to drive the development of PTLD. Research indicates...

T Cell Immunity Testing - Flow Cytometry
inSIGHT™ utilizes intracellular cytokine staining analyzed by flow cytometry to measure the strength of T cell responses to viral specific antigens or proteins. It evaluates and reports the activity of CD4 and CD8 T Cell responses separately.
